Parent Involvement Policy

Lee Middle School strives to educate the whole child. This includes not only academics and study skills but social and personal skills as well. The lessons that are learned at school must be reinforced in the home. Parents must be involved in their child's education for growth to take place. Good role models are essential.

Lee Middle school has a plethora of programs to encourage parents to take part in their child's development. these include but are not limited to the following:

  • Preschool individual parent meeting to discuss: schedule, use of the planner, parent responsibilities
  • Parent Involvement Specialist
  • Student mentoring
  • Community role model mentors
  • Sorority and Fraternity mentors
  • Boys and Girls Club
  • AFCAAM

  • Six volunteers for mentoring from the Florida Firecats
  • PTSA/SAC
