I would like to extend a warm welcome to you as we anticipate the beginning of a new school year! This summer has been a wonderful time for having fun, relaxing with the family and renewing our energy. As summer draws to a close, all of us begin to look forward to new opportunities for academic success and personal growth.

Last year Lee Middle became the only authorized Middle Years Program in Lee County. Lee Middle School also earned a school grade of "B" for the 2007-2008 school year. We are very proud of the accomplishments of our students and teachers and are striving to continue that success. It is very important that we work together as a team and communicate extensively. To achieve that goal we will be holding short Pre-School conferences to discuss your child's schedule and ways to foster communication. All 7th grade students must bring their immunization records. We want your child to be successful this year, so it it is very important that you attend Pre-School Conferences.

The first day of school is August 18, 2008. However, we will hold an IB Open House Picnic on the Saturday before school starts. You may visit the classrooms and enjoy a free picnic lunch in our cafeteria.
